To connect a Yealink T54W desk phone to a Yeastar PBX system

To connect a Yealink T54W desk phone to a Yeastar PBX system, follow these steps:
1. Prepare Your Equipment:

• Ensure your Yealink T54W desk phone is powered on and connected to the network.
• Make sure your Yeastar PBX system is properly set up and connected to the same network.

2. Configure Yeastar PBX:

• Login to Yeastar PBX:
  
  1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your Yeastar PBX.
  2. Login with your administrator credentials.
• Create an Extension:
  
  1. Go to Extensions > Add to create a new extension.
  2. Fill in the required information such as Extension Number, Name, and Password.
  3. Save the new extension.

3. Configure Yealink T54W:

• Login to Yealink Web Interface:
  
  1. Obtain the IP address of the Yealink T54W from the phone's menu (Menu > Status > Network).
  2. Enter the IP address into a web browser to access the Yealink web interface.
  3. Login with the default credentials (username: admin, password: admin).
• Register the Phone:
  
  1. Navigate to Account > Register.
  2. Enter the following details:
     • Line Active: Enabled
     • Label: Enter a label (e.g., "Office Phone").
     • Display Name: Your desired display name.
     • Register Name: The extension number you created in the Yeastar PBX.
     • User Name: The extension number.
     • Password: The password you set for the extension.
     • SIP Server: The IP address of your Yeastar PBX.
  3. Save the settings.

4. Verify Connection:

• After saving the settings, the Yealink T54W should show as registered.
• You can check the status in the phone's web interface under Status > Account Status.

5. Test the Phone:

• Make a test call to ensure the phone is correctly connected to the Yeastar PBX and functioning properly.

If you encounter any issues, verify the following:

• Both devices (Yeastar PBX and Yealink T54W) are on the same network.
• Correct IP addresses are used.
• The extension details (username, password, SIP server) are accurate.
• Network configurations such as firewalls or VLANs are not blocking the connection.
