Sixteen lines and a 4.3 inch screen make the SIP-T74W the one for a desk that fields calls all day rather than takes the odd one. Where it differs from the T74U next to it is the wireless: this model has the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth inside it already, so there is no dongle to buy, fit, or find missing two years later.
- 4.3" 480 x 272 colour display with backlight
- Dual band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 inside the phone itself, on 2.4GHz or 5GHz, with no dongle to fit
- Sixteen lines, which is where this one earns its keep over the smaller models
- Powered over the network cable where the network supplies it, so no plug pack at the desk
- A USB 2.0 socket, used for a headset or to record a call
- Wired and wireless headsets, including electronic hook switch answering
- Takes up to three EXP55 colour screen expansion modules
- Quiet hall switch handset, and hearing aid compatible
- Two stand angles, or off the desk entirely on a wall bracket
- Runs Linux 6.1, with encryption handled in hardware rather than software
Expansion modules are why it turns up on reception desks. Somebody who has to see at a glance which of thirty people is free can do it from here, without a second screen and without asking around.
